Shoe Disaster

My lola called up asking my sis and I to accompany her to the mall. We gladly did so. She wanted to buy sandals to be used by her in going to mass. We kept looking in the shoe department. But it took us a long time to buy because my lola was not liking the sandals sold in the displays. She had high standards (haha). I was already praying that we’ll be able to find one for her because she started to look frustrated. When she was about to give up I was instantly able to find a display rack that we were not able to visit before. There I chose 3 sandals which she fitted. With a little prodding from my sis and I she was able to like the third sandal. We asked for assistance from the sales lady for other sizes. When my lola was putting down the shoe she wore to fit the new one, the heel suddenly fell off. My sis was laughing hard. Maybe the shoe was saying that it’s already time for it to rest. Well, it got what it wanted because my lola bought the new sandals. Allelujah.

After the quite stressful day my sis decided to treat us in a restaurant few blocks away from the mall. It was definitely time for some food because my head was already spinning from hunger.
