On March 2, 2010, the highest court of the land , in a minute resolution, denied the motion for reconsideration (MFR) filed by former Senate President Jovito Salonga and affirmed with finality the constitutionality of the Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) between the Philippines and the United States.
