Papa's Day

Its father’s day yesterday but I get to celebrate two occasions. First, my aunt treated my lola, sibs and I to a lunch. It was her belated birthday gift to my sis. It was supposed to be an all-ladies lunch date. However, my nephew was brought along because no one would look over him in my lola’s house as she went with us. His father was also busy attending an “airsoft” competition. Unfortunately, I became the nanny of the day keeping watch over him.

My aunt decided to have our pictures taken in Lito Sy. Since my nephew was having his hyper-attack my lola and I decided to leave him in the Worlds of Fun playground and get back at him after the picture taking. In the photo studio, we were asked to have formal and wacky poses. I personally hate pictures taken in photo studios. I prefer taking pictures using personal cameras. It’s more comfortable that way.

After bringing my lola and nephew back home, my aunt decided to treat us again to a halo-halo. We were in luck since its father’s day the restaurant had a buy-one-take-one promo.

At home, we celebrated father’s day with a nice dinner. My papa was glad. I planned of writing something about my father in this post but I am running out of time since I still have reading assignments. Maybe next time.
