Global WARNing

I am bothered by the information I read and hear about climate change. There is a serious environmental crisis going on that could greatly affect our lives but it seems only a few are informed and are concerned. At first I just ignored the news about global warming but every time I watch TV I always see reports tackling about it. Just last night, I was able to watch a talk show discussing about the need to address the issue on water scarcity. One of the hosts said that loss of water may be the new cause for world war since admittedly water is one if not the most important resource in this planet. Indeed, she has a point. In everything we do we use water. The moment we wake up we bathe ourselves with it to be able to go to school or work. Our rice and food would be uncooked without it. We water our plants with it. We use it brush our teeth. We quench our thirsts with it. The energy we use to run our machines, etc. is produced by water. In almost everything we do we need it. We might ignore it now because we still have it but what if the day comes when we wake up without a single drop of water coming out of our faucets. What if there would be drought and no rain. To prevent this dreadful day from coming we should do our parts in conserving water. It’s so simple to save water but we just don’t do it because we don’t see the need to do it now. Just not yet.
