Medico-legal

Today is the second day of the Medico-Legal Sportsfest day. It's an activity organized by previous law and medical students in Davao City. It is participated by 2 law schools and 1 medical school. The games consisting this activity are basketball, volleyball, scrabble, chess and etc. As law student, I was urged to play in the volleyball game. As I went there we waited for our opponent but they failed to arrive, hence, we won by default. I was also asked to play the scrabble but I bribed a friend to play instead. I was surprisingly convincing so she substituted for me. She sure saved my ass. I don't like the game because it bores me to death. Instead, I just acted as the timer person since nobody was able to do it. My teammates won both in the game of scrabble and chess. In the over-all competition my school also placed first. What made me like this event is not the games per se but the chance to meet other law and medical students outside my school. It makes me proud to think that even through the busy and demanding needs of our chosen courses we can still spend some little time to relax and meet other students like ours.
