Indeed, there's a first time for everything... And that happened last night... I was given a certificate for being an honor last sem... Since, first year I never thought I would stay long in law school. My usual mindset was that law school is not for me just like many others who have accepted that bitter truth and now in the other fields of profession so I believe... Lo and behold I was proven wrong... and the glossy paper handed to me last night was enough object evidence (hi dean I..hehe) of my capacity to proceed and hopefully succeed this challenging course... Maybe this time I should be a little optimistic..
In college I was also one of those blessed to have been included in the dean's list... but unlike then, where I thought I did not deserve it since I haven't really studied and busted my ass for it, now seems more deserving... I have been depriving myself of some social time with friends and family just so I could prepare for exams... This time I can truly say that this blessing is very well justified.. i guess therefore what distinguishes my DL award in college and in law school is the efforts I have invested in each...
I feel nothing but gratitude to God who's been very helpful with my academics. To the Lord be the glory.
By the way, a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the Juniors of Ateneo de Davao LLB for being the over-all champions in the CONFLICTS 2008... We so deserve it!
