Thanks to Yahoo's Messenger I was spared from trouble. I was assigned to be one of the researchers for the moot court (competition) for Conflicts this Friday. Instead of returning to school after lunch where we were supposed to meet and brainstorm for defenses I was not able to come back. I was asked to do some chores. After opening my YM that night I was able to have a chat with one of the speakers and she told me that the meeting was a disaster. She herself was late and was not able to lend some help to the others left in school. No pleading was made and worst a member of the Forensics (debate society) told them that the concepts and ideas they proposed were totally wrong for moot court. So one of the other speakers sent an sms saying that we have to undo everything and start from scratch. This time I had to help. The next day, which is a Sunday, I feared that they would be asking us to go to school to work on our pleadings both for the prosecution and the defense. I really hate going out of the house during Sundays. Sunday is a self-imposed Family day/tamad day. So I suggested that since we all have our computers at home with messengers then we should instead have a conference through it.hehe Good thing they agreed. We were brainstorming through it and sent each other the notes we made through its send file feature. It was definitely a big help.
