Assorted

I stopped studying last Monday. I feel like it's already my Christmas break even though we still have some classes left. This is a self-imposed break. I really need it. I am starting to dislike law school. And I fear that if I continue another week I'll burn out and think of quitting.

With the short Christmas break allowed by the school I don't know where to start. Should I be resting? going out with friends? have quality time with my dogs? or just disappear?

I'm also thinking of petitioning the city mayor for an allowance in the fire cracker ban. If they won't allow the people then the city government itself should be the one doing it. Or they should allow those light firecracker displays you see in Times Square during Christmas and New Year..haha It is so boring in the city. I cannot feel the Christmas spirit. For me the noise of the firecrackers signals the start of the celebration. Without it the city is like celebrating the season deaf-mute.

I believe that everybody should look out for his or her own welfare. If they would be injuring somebody through the firecrackers they light up then they should answer for it. But the damage to or of one should not prevent others from the joy of lighting up their own watusi, judas belt, super lolo, etc. That's why we have laws on Torts & Damages to answer for those negligence if ever they arise right?!

and i thought i was the only one who felt the need to impose a break upon myself.

tonight's class, if there will be one would be a joke. i know for sure there would be at most, 2 or 3 who would show up. i wouldn't be one of them.

CHEERS to the yuletide season. this time, the break is long enough to allow us to sleep more, eat more, watch TV/movies more, etc.

haha i don't think its that long though...

but long or short, it's still a much needed break... I'll just grab that opportunity to do what can't be done when classes starts again...

God bless and Merry Christmas ms. dee! Enjoy your sweet vacation with mr. dee!hehe
