After having my self-imposed holiday break from school I had a three-day non-stop "laag."
First day, first stop >> to the nearby restaurant... had lunch... then went to the DCLA because I have been hearing other people mention this place... they said there are lots of cheap goods sold there... indeed there were... all were cheap from the price to the quality...hehe i don't mean to offend those who patronize the store or the storeowners themselves but I can't help but be honest with my opinion... after all, I am entitled to one right?!... still, if you are tight on the budget but is still obliged to give something to a manito/a, family, or loved ones then you have to check out the place... mass produced... there are different stalls but all selling the same items with varying prices... Koreans or Chinese?! are making money out us in our own territory... I don't know how to react...
Next stop >> Lots 4 Less... It was my first time to visit the place... It was suffocating... I feel like trapped inside a box... or rather in a can of sardines... I don't know if I'll see myself coming back to the place for another year...
Next stop >> Went to the mall... I felt at home... a familiar territory... although there were still many people inside but it was more bearable...
Second day, 1st stop >> NCCC Uyanguren... After a year I was able to come back to everybody's favorite shop... My friend needed to buy batteries... so off we went!
Next stop >> to Marakesh... Attended the Christmas party... had to supply the mp3's... also gave my gift... and received one... thanks ms. dee!
Third day >> went to my cousin's farm... with my family... also with lola dearest... had our pictures taken so that we can send it to him abroad...
Next stop >> to the nearby mall... bought food for lunch... unfortunately, we had to ride a taxi back home... the vehicle wouldn't start... haha funny...
Final stop >> accompanied lola dearest to the another mall... again.... she bought things for her house... and gifts for her two "apo sa tuhod." She's one of the luckiest lola in the world... able to live to see her children have their own children and grandchildren...
