My uncle is confined in the hospital for a few days now. He was diagnosed of cancer but the source is still unknown. Up until now, he does not know that he’s expected to live for less than 8 months. The doctor already gave him a taning (spelling check please). However, when the finding was told to his wife, my aunt, she secretly cried but said that “Only God Knows.” We are all praying for miracle now. Nothing is indeed impossible with the Lord as I often hear my aunt, mother and almost everybody say these times.
It’s just so saddening to see him so full of life even while bed ridden. He even speaks of his hopes and plans in the future. If not for the fact that he cannot walk or even sit up because of the pain in his lower back, he just looks so healthy. He’s undergoing radiation therapy and they would still decide if they would allow him to have chemotherapy. I personally don’t want him to. I have known many who have undergone therapy but still died even earlier than expected. It’s all in God’s grace.
