300

My classmates have been bragging about this movie. I did not have a clue what they were talking about until I watched it Saturday night with Steek. Indeed, all their bragging were true. It was such a fantastic movie. From beginning to end everything was breathtaking. I especially liked the consistency in the battle scenes. There was never a second that I was bored. All eyes were really focused on the big screen. I even snubbed the burger that was sitting on my lap.

An image in the right is one of the akward moments in the movie. And the other is one of the nicest scenes which shows that the Spartans indeed value their family.

Every man out there would sure be looking at there six packs when they go home. haha

The movie was a creation of Frank Miller who also created Sin City and other good movies. His theme revolves around dark, super-hero comic magazines which is really amazing.

Wikipedia: Spartan King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fight to the last man against Persian King Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and his army of over one million soldiers, while in Sparta, Queen Gorgo (Lena Headey) attempts to rally support for her husband.
