Kadayawan in Davao

Today's the last day of the Kadayawan Celebration in my beloved city. Kadayawan is an event that celebrates a bountiful harvest of fruits and flowers produced in Davao. It also celebrates the different cultures living in this great city such as the Bagobo, Mandaya, to name a few. They are all in the streets feeling the spirit of the celebration. Some of the activities that I have been witnessing, though in the television only, are indak-indak sa kadalanan, floral float parade - which are the two main events. It makes me feel proud to be a part of Davao - being born and raised here all my life.
