Birhday Momma

It's my mother's 52nd birthday today. We're having some family dinner later. In my family, we always make it a point to eat good food, even if our budget is tight, when there is a small celebration. A simple dinner together coupled with a family picture-taking, would already be a special treat for a a birthday celebrant. I'm just glad that I don't have classes today because the school declared it a holiday as they celebrate St. Ignatius day. At least I can be with my family for my mother's birthday dinner. My class usually ends at 9 p.m. and I would have to be late later if it weren't for the holiday.
