Insured for Insurance

Ms. Dee texted that the Insurance grades are already out. As soon as I received it, I immediately decided to stop what I was watching on dvd and head of to school. On the road, I had all the mixed emotions. All the what if's came to my mind. I just cannot risk this one. I cannot afford to waste precious time and money plus all the efforts I have put in to reading and studying for this subject.

You see, our Insurance subject is extra difficult because of the teacher. She is one if not the most hard to please teacher in school. But in fairness to her, she gives (R)econsiderations to those who deserve it. However, in the same way, she would not think twice of failing a student if the said student deserves it as well. That's why I with the rest of my other classmates dread the time when the grades would come out. And this time was today.

So, I rushed to school hoping that I could still come there on time before the dean's office would close. Sadly, it was too late. The blinds were already pulled in like the curtains at the conclusion in a theater play. But the lights and the computers inside were still on.

Stubborn as I am, I refuse to come home empty handed. I refuse to sleep with thoughts of failing or passing at the back of my head. So, I waited and waited for almost an hour for anybody to appear behind the closed doors of the office. After praying for the kindest among the three clerks in there to come out and give me my grades, he did come out. With a little begging he gave me my notebooks and class card. Thank God, I passed. Nothing beats this feeling of relief right now. I can now go home not empty handed. I can now sleep peacefully and even snore!

This day is another proof that God is by my side. I prayed and He answered. I am just grateful.
