beach, summer, fun

At long last, I was able to relax and have fun under the sun. Last May 10, my college friends and I pushed through our plans of going to the beach. Thank God all went well as planned. We stayed in one of the beaches in the infamous samal island. The place was beautiful and peaceful plus it was not crowded. We looked like we owned the place since on the latter part of the day there were few people around and we had the pool all by ourselves. We were not able to enjoy much of the white sand beach though because it was low tide when we arrived. It was high tide only at night when it was already a little scary to have a night swim.

All in all, the outing was successful because of the people I was with. They were my close old college block mates. It would have been more fun if our other friends were able to join us. But sadly, they are no longer here in Davao. It would be difficult for them to take a leave off from work just to be with us. I hope soon they can join us in another 'stellar' getaway! ;)
