This is in connection with Jazi's blog post. I just had to check out the controversial Binibining Pilipinas interview portion in you tube.
One should be emotionally, physically, intellectually ready to come out of any pageant. Beauty is not enough justification to win. Beauty must come with substance. There were lots of other contestants that night, and I am pretty sure there was somebody else more deserving. And we wonder why we don't win international pageants... tsk tsk... I need not say more about the judges... why did they not do their job? Also, age, being a first time contestant are never an excuse..hehe Am i too harsh?
Well, in fairness to her, she still have seven or so months to prepare for the competition abroad. She can still study and practice her communication skills to redeem herself.
Besides, if our former president have the license to speak funny English why can't she?hehe

precisely the reason why i don't watch beauty pageants sometimes. i can't help but cover my ears pag question and answer portion na. embarrassing moments talaga.
you're right, dapat super prepared ang contestant before joining the pageant. but i also sympathize with them. oral recit pa lang nga kay ma'am sagmit, nervous na ako.. hehe sila pa kaya in front of the whole country?
haha but medyo improving na kami ke ma'am sagmit... bumabait na sya kaya lang medyo late na kasi we just concluded our Insurance with her last night..hehe she said she hopes to see us in 4th year..hehe
